Overview
The Handset Manager, designed
by Mobile Action Technology Inc., is a software application especially
for NOKIA 61xx series GSM mobile phones. Because the NOKIA 61xx
phones have infrared interface port equipped, the software can
be used with MA-600 Infrared Adapter for interfacing to the NOKIA
phones. Handset Manager can help you to conveniently manage the
mobile phone and perform the following operations:

Edit, backup your personal phone book on the PC and transfer
it to the phone. |

Edit, organize your calendar on the PC and synchronize
it to the phone. |
|
Edit and change the personal Ring Tone, Operator Logo,
Caller Group Icon, and Startup Logo Graphics of your mobile
phone. |

Manage the SMS short message on the phone. You can append
personal signature behind the SMS short message. For NOKIA 61xx
series, you can send SMS message with various formats such as
Text only, Ring Tone or Graphics to the other NOKIA phones. |
Operation Environments
Because the NOKIA 61xx series does
not use the IrDA communication protocol for transmitting data,
the Handset Manager have built-in drivers for MA-600 infrared
adapter. The current version of Handset Manager for NOKIA 61xx
must be used with MA-600. The software can not be used with the
built-in IR port of the notebook PC.
