This product is recommended for personal use, law enforcement and corporate settings. The AlcoMate Prestige has a 5.5 second blow time vs. the Al-5000's 4.5 second blow time. Because of this the AlcoMate Prestige is the most accurate tester and is DOT and NHTSA approved, as well as FDA Certified! Unlike the AL-5000, the AlcoMate Prestige also features normal mode and fast mode which allows the user to use it with or without a mouthpiece.
