The PowerShot A430 puts high-performance specs and a wide array of advanced capabilities at your command. With 4.0 megapixels of resolution, 4x optical zoom and a variety of shooting modes, the A430 offers better image quality than any other introductory-level digital camera. 4.0 Megapixels A 4.0 Megapixels CCD sensor captures every scene with enough detail for large photo quality prints. 4x optical zoom The 4x optical zoom lens lets you get close to the action without sacrificing quality. It combines with digital zoom for 14x magnification. Cutting edge technology Canon's advanced DIGIC II processor delivers fast, responsive camera performance and superior image processing. iSAPS technology analyses each scene to optimise key camera settings even before a shot is taken. Shooting modes and My Colors Choose from15 shooting modes to get that perfect shot. Eight easy-to-use Special Scene modes help with great results in tricky lighting conditions, including Beach, Foliage and Snow. My Colors allows special in-camera colour effects to be applied in real time to images and movies. Movies Make extra long² VGA quality movie clips with full audio. View them on the camera's LCD screen, or connect to a TV or PC for full screen playback. Auto Focus and 1cm Super Macro mode 9-point AiAF ensures that even off-centre subjects remain sharp and in focus. With Super Macro mode, you can focus as close as 1cm from your subject - perfect for capturing the fine detail of tiny objects. Widescreen recording Shoot still images in Widescreen 16:9 mode for seamless playback on widescreen TV or printing on wide size paper to a SELPHY CP printer - perfect for viewing panoramas in all their glory. 1.8" LCD screen A 1.8" LCD brings pleasure to framing and reviewing your creations. The selectable Grid Line Display helps with composition, while Night Display aids screen visibility after dark. Printing is almost instant with the PowerShot A430. Connect to any PictBridge compatible printer and push the Print/Share button for a full colour print within seconds. Connect to a Canon SELPHY CP printer and you can also print ID photos and movie stills. Editing and sharing Canon's ZoomBrowser EX (Windows) and ImageBrowser (Macintosh) are included for editing and organising photos, movies and slide shows.
