A comedy set in prehistoric times about a group of outcasts who form a tribe called the “Misfits.” The film makes innovative use of pantomime, since the actors do not speak English, but instead speak a primitive language developed for the film. This spoof of prehistoric man movies, follows outcasts, Atouk and Lar, as they meet and join up with other outcasts to form their own tribe. The new tribe includes a blind man, a gay couple, a dwarf, and other oddball outcasts rejected by other tribes.
