The Omega ECHO-2 system is a modular two-way remote controller transceiver that simply plugs into any compatible Omega vehicle security system to put the status of your vehicle at your finger tips. This powerful transceiver extends operating range to as much as 1,500 feet so every command can be confirmed even when your vehicle is out of sight. The ECHO-2 features a patented customizable vehicle display. Why should you have to look at a sedan if you drive a SUV With the ECHO-2, you can select the vehicle graphic to be either a car, pick-up truck, or SUV. Eas -To-Understand Status Icons. Some of the system's confirmation icons are: system armed, system disarmed, valet mode, locked, unlocked, remote start, in range, low pager battery, 2nd channel, 3rd channel, prewarn, shock, door violation, hood/trunk violation, and carjack mode. The ECHO-2 also features a digital clock and a backlit LCD for easy viewing in dark environments. The ECHO-2 also offers features you will only find in an Omega vehicle security product. Every time the system is armed and disarmed, the clock display will change to reflect how many transmitters are programmed to your system. Also, the ECHO-2 features Omega's patented chirp emulation feature. Every confirmation chirp or warning chirp from your system will be identically duplicated by the ECHO-2 in both audible and mute (vibration) mode.
