Large Capacity For All Your Digital Media With 1.5 TB storage capacity, the Value Series Desktop Hard Drive allows you to save up to 6,000,000 photos, 27,750 hours of music, 2,250 hours of video and more. The volume is configured in a JBOD (Just a Bunch of Disks) configuration, which lets the drive appear on your computer as a single large disk. The drive uses a USB 2.0 connection, which makes the drive virtually compatible with all today's computers and boasts fast transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps. The device houses two SATA hard drives with 7200 rpm speed and up to an 8 MB cache buffer for speedy performance. The drive is compatible with both PCs and Macs. It is FAT32 preformatted, so PC users can just plug it in and start using it.
