P-Key is a dongle protection used by JAF team for 2 different products from JAF team. (jaf and jafwm). It is also NOT POSSIBLE for customers with JAFWM to update it to PKEY for JAF or vice versa. IMPORTANT: Please provide the full registration details below for every purchase of P-key, in order for us to activate your dongle: 1.) JAF serial number 2.) Name of reseller 3.) Date of purchase WARNING: If you provide us with the wrong registration details, and then the pkey does not get activated due to this, then we will not be held responsible, and you will need to purchase another pkey. What have P-Key common with JAFWM? NOTHING. P-Key is a dongle protection used by JAF team for 2 different products from JAF team. (jaf and jafwm). It is also NOT POSSIBLE for customers with JAFWM to update it to PKEY for JAF or vice versa. Users can not: - use 1 P-Key with a clone JAF - order P-Key update for one JAF serial from 2 or more resellers in same time - use 1 P-Key with 2 JAF boxes (every JAF box have only 1 P-Key dongle) - get P-Key update dongle in advantage witout providing old JAF serial number - get P-Key dongle in advantage without payment confirmed with us - get P-Key for a blacklisted box due cc or paypal fraud, missing payment or JAF cracking attempt - get P-Key any more after 60 days from 5-th of may 2006, this mean users have 2 months to update their box to P-Key version Do i really need to buy P-Key for my JAF box? We do not force any one buy it, but every one should understand that also we have to improve our protection and this costs money for all of us. So, if you want also use your JAF with higher versions as 1.95 beta, you must buy it, if you are happy with your JAF box and all software versions released until version 1..95beta1, than you no need buy it. JAF P-Key Installation/Activation Tutorial: 1. Go to: http://www.files.odeon.cn/ 2. Click on the archive: PKey-driver.rar, download and extract the contents into a folder. 3. Install Driver_setup_English and it will restart your PC after the process ins complete. 4. After the restart is complete, connect the P-Key dongle to your PC USB-Port. Windows will automatically install the drivers for the dongle. 5. Once the drivers are installed you will get the “New device is installed and ready to use” balloon popup message. 6. Leave the PKey dongle connected and then connect to another usb port your JAF Box. 7. Open JAF software version 1.95 beta 9 (The software will read and display your Pkey dongle serial number) 8. Click the “Update P-Key” button. When the server will complete the card update process, the message “JAF Dongle init complete” 9. Restart the JAF Software and you will see the “Update Firmware” button now active. 10. Click “Update Firmware” and the software will display “Warning ! This update will make your JAF BOX working only with P-key. You can use the box with older versions, are you sure???" message box. 11. Click “YES” 12. The server will update the box firmware; wait until you see the message " Updating FW Step 2...Please wait...DONE ! " 13. Restart JAF Software version 1.95 beta 9 and from now on you can use the new updates offered by the ODEON TEAM by using the new PKEY dongle.
