LG upgraded the chocolate's GPRS to EDGE and renamed it KE800 Chocolate Platinum, the second generation of the popular stylish phone. But the EDGE is not the only new feature, the phone has doubled the internal memory to 256MB and has microSD slot for memory in addition. The old 1-megapixel camera is replaced with 2-megapixel one with auto-focus and macro mode, and FM radio is added in addition to the music player, with the phone now supporting stereo Bluetooth. *You may choose to remove box, manual, battery or charger to save shipping cost LG has announced a major upgrade of the LG Chocolate phone lineup featuring a face-lift and a heavy improvement of the available equipment. The new LG KE800 has some improvements the original LG Chocolate has in terms of functionality. The new LG Chocolate has a new 2 megapixel camera complete with auto focus among other improvements. The new LG Chocolate Platinum, produced under the designation KE800, would feature tri-band GSM/GPRS support, stereo Bluetooth support, FM radio and a microSD card slot. Moreover, it would have 256MB of integrated memory instead of 128MB, updated music player functionalities and a dedicated Flight mode. The Platinum version boasts not only updated equipment but also a total body change. The handset would be a tad larger than the original Chocolate phone but it would most surely compensate for that drawback since it boasts a TFT display with a QVGA resolution (240x320 pixels, as well as a boosted battery life of up to 270 hours stand-by time.
