Maritime Legend stars award-winning actress Siqin Gaowa (The Post Modern Life of My Aunt) and Taiwanese actress Jacqueline Wu (A Moment of Romance). Wu has become fairly elusive in recent years, and this is one her of few screen appearances. Co-starring Li Minqi and Wang Yu, Maritime Legend is a gripping tale of love, deception, and crime in the high seas. Set in the 1930’s in Shanghai, in the eastern seas, there was a seafaring female outlaw, Liang Guifeng, who is honored as a heroine for her just sword and Robin Hood-like exploits.
