Named for the Dominus wines, which are a Bordeaux blend, this decanter is suitable for moderate to major aeration of Bordeaux region wines and a variety of other aged reds. The decanter has a wider base than neck in order to expedite the oxidation process. The simple yet elegantly designed Dominus Magnum decanter has a rounded base and body that slopes into a long 4-1/2-inch neck, and a slightly flared 1-1/2-inch pouring lip. A bulb-shaped stopper covers the mouth between pourings. This decanter is mouth-blown of non-lead crystal, stands 11-1/4 inches tall, is 4-1/2 inches wide at its base, and holds 31-3/4 ounces or the equivalent of one full bottle of wine.
