The 9th generation of a glassmaking dynasty founded in 1756, Claus Riedel brought the company back from the brink of extinction after World War II when in 1956 he established the Riedel Glassworks in Kufstein, Austria. His legacy is his glass creations changed the way that wine is appreciated today. Georg Riedel, the current President of the company, has released this classic design of Claus Riedel's to honor the memory and artistry of his late father. These collections are machine blown on state of the art equipment. This innovative and proprietary technology produces glass that is virtually indistinguishable from its hand-blown counterpart.
