The L74 Wide is equipped with a convenient Tour Guide function which provides travel information covering 2, 600 regions in 30 countries - helping users to plan trips and find their way whilst away. Equipped with 450 MB of internal memory, the L74 Wide can easily handle large amounts of travel information at any given time.The L74 Wide, with a 3.0 Touch Screen LCD, includes Samsung's Face Recognition AF&AE, which detects the subject's face, automatically adjusts auto focus and auto exposure to ensure better composition and image quality in portraits, and other shots featuring people. The AF function instantaneously recognizes the faces of subjects and accurately focuses on them. The AE function then takes over, setting the appropriate exposure to ensure the highest image quality. Also the touch screen LCD perfected with Samsung's original Flash GUI (Graphic User Interface) enables the user to access the diverse function intuitively and easily.The L74 Wide also features Samsung's proprietary ASR image stabilization system which helps to capture the best possible images even in dimly lit conditions. Face Recognition AF & AE With the Face Recognition AF & AE function, Samsung L74WIDE enables the user to take better portrait pictures more easily. The function detects faces and automatically focuses on them; the brightness of the face is adjusted optimally for beautiful portrait pictures. Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) The ASR technology prevents the degradation of image clarity and colour which is sometimes found in flash photography. With ASR the effects of camera shake are reduced in lower light conditions. You can even take well exposed, sharper pictures in low light without using a flash at all, resulting in more natural looking pictures. You can take clearer pictures even in dim light ISO 1600 high sensitivity support The Samsung L74WIDE produces vivid pictures even in low light. The camera has an auto sensitivity feature that automatically adjusts sensitivity up to ISO 1600 depending on the ambient exposure conditions. The high sensitivity setting of ISO 1600 enables you to take clear indoor pictures, even in poor light without camera shake or image blur.
