PocketDock AV is the newest member of the SendStation PocketDock family. Incredibly compact, it is one of the most versatile and mobile iPod adapters ever. It syncs, it charges, it connects your iPod to your stereo, it outputs your iPod video to the big screen. PocketDock AV does all this by taking advantage of the 30-pin dock connector on the bottom of your iPod which provides superior audio / video output. Unlike other products that output a composite video signal via the headphone jack, PocketDock AV is able to output an S-Video signal. The S-Video image is sharper, has cleaner colors and reveals much more detail. Likewise, PocketDock AV allows you to connect your iPod to your existing home stereo (or car stereo, too) with zero compromise in sound quality. PocketDock industry-standard 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) stereo jack connects directly to the iPod line level circuitry by utilizing the 30-pin dock connector -- so it is just like the Apple Dock, but in a tiny, easy-to-carry package. PocketDock AV comes with one of the most versatile cables we have ever seen. USB, audio, composite and S-Video, all in one ultra-compact, 45 in. (115 cm) cable. A velcro cable strap is included to keep things tidy. Smartly, PocketDock AV has also been designed to work with almost any iPod case: a built-in extension allows you to connect it to your iPod through the same narrow opening made for the standard iPod cable plug.
