The entry-level Sony DCR-SR47 60GB Handycam Camcorder (Silver) records to both the 60GB hard disk drive and optional Memory Stick PRO Duo media. Capture up to 45 hours of video (in LP mode) to the HDD; should you need more storage, record additional footage to Memory Stick media. You can even transfer your video and still images to the Memory Stick for easy uploading to your compatible computer or printer. The DCR-SR47 also boasts a professional-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 60x optical zoom and SteadyShot image stabilization. These features work together with the 2.7' wide touch panel LCD and 1/8' Advanced HAD CCD image sensor to provide clear, detailed images of your child's play or just a day at the beach. Hybrid Recording to HDD or Memory Stick Media You have the option of recording your video and still images to the 60GB hard disk drive or Memory Stick Duo media (optional) with the DCR-SR47. Footage stored on the HDD can be transferred to Memory Stick media for easy transfer to compatible computers or printers. 1/8" Advanced HAD CCD Sensor The 1/8" Advanced HAD (Hole Accumulation Diode) CCD image sensor captures crisp and clear video and still images. The impressive 60x optical zoom helps you capture far off subjects with no loss in image quality. 2.7" Wide Touch Panel LCD The generous 2.7" LCD gives you an accurate display on which to compose and playback your shots, while also providing an intuitive surface to navigate menus and other functions. The 270° rotation of the screen helps capture hard-to-get shots and aids in viewing upon playback. SteadyShot Image Stabilization Sony's SteadyShot cuts down on blur caused by inevitable hand-shake or a moving subject.
