The first performance by Noel Leung at TVB. This series takes place after the Sung Dynasty is toppled over by the Mongols. Somewhere in the process, the royal seal (yuk soi) of the Sung Dynasty is lost. Whoever finds this seal will be able to reunite those who want to reclaim their nation from the Yuen Dynasty. Basically, the seal is a symbol of power and the glue that holds people together to fight against the Mongols. Yuen Yung (Eugina Lau) was the daughter of a rich and honorable man, from the Lau household (played by Pao Fung). She also had an older brother (played by Lok Ying Kwan). She fell in love with a poor but kind-hearted and honest woodsman (I think that's what he was, can't remember for sure), Tin Sheng (Canti Lau). This was met with her father’s fierce disapproval and she was practically disowned. She and Tin Sheng married, but the man who was pursuing her, I will call him "Yeung" (his surname in the series), was terribly upset that she rejected him to be with a poor fella.
